Economic Promotion and Information System for Pomorskie Voivodeship

The main objective of the Project is to systematize all activities on the field of economic promotion of the Pomorskie Region (Pomerania) in Poland and abroad in the years 2009–2011.

The project includes analysis on investment attractiveness of the Pomeranian Region, which will point out sectors crucial for its further development. Condition of regional economy will be examined – its advantages and weaknesses, main sectors and local business environment. Results of the study are to be compared with global economy trends and expectations and experiences of the potential investors. Basing on the analysis, advertising agency will be selected to prepare worldwide marketing campaign of the Region.

Simultaneously regional business portal will be developed. It is targeted to entrepreneurs, including experts and potential investors, looking for issues related to economic life of the Region. The portal is going to have numerous language versions. English version is to be the first one.

Economic Promotion and Information System for Pomorskie Voivodeship  is a result of  a long-term partnership and experience exchange between Pomorskie Voivodeship and Pomerania Development Agency authorities in the field of economic promotion, foreign investors assistance and international cooperation. The Project is supported by the group of experts from Special Economic Zones - Pomorska and Słupska – operating in the Region.

An agreement concerning realization of the Project, which is supported by the EU funds basing on the Regional Operational Programme  for Pomorskie Voivodeship was signed by the representatives of Office of the Marshal of the Pomorskie Voivodeship and the Pomerania Development Agency in May this year.
