Regional Operational Programme 2007-2013

In the new programming period of 2007 - 2013, the largest EU budget was allocated for Pomerania Voivodeship. Regional Operational Programme received over 885 mln Euro from European Regional Development Funds.

Pomerania Development Agency assisting regional entrepreneurs has gained much experience in EU grants management. Now we are providing assistance to regional entrepreneurs in getting access to EU grants available in Regional Operational Programme for 2007-2013.
It is worth noting that whole package of financial assistance directed at SME is available at one institution. The priority axis I (‘Innovation and development in SME’) allocates 185.8 mln Euro. Who can benefit from the funding? Micro, small and medium enterprises, but also local government units, and their u.nions and associations, business support institutions, science and technology parks, enterprise incubations, non-governmental organisations, social and economic partnerships, universities, research centres, public finance units with legal entity (not mentioned above) and PPP based entities.
 
Measures and Sub measures in Regional Programme for 2007-2013:

Measures 1.1.1
Microenterprises
Eligible projects:
- investment projects aimed at improving investment capacity of microenterprises based in pomorskie region;
- project aimed at participation in trade fairs and exhibitions in Poland and abroad as an exhibitor;
- projects involving adjusting business activity to Polish and European standards;
 
Measure 1.1.2
Small and Medium Enterprise
Eligible projects:
- investment projects aimed at improving investment capacity of SMEs based in pomorskie region;
- project aimed at participation in trade fairs and exhibitions in Poland and abroad as an exhibitor;
- projects involving adjusting business activity to Polish and European standards;
 
Measure 1.2
Innovative Solutions in SME
Eligible projects:
- project aimed at investments in R&D and technological innovations in enterprises;
- projects involving purchasing rights to intellectual property; investments in R&D with the aim to implementing innovative solutions into production processes and commercialising products, services and science and technology platforms.

Measure 1.4
Entrepreneurship support system
Eligible projects:
- projects aimed at implementing comprehensive measures improving quality, range and availability of information and consulting services provided to entrepreneurs by business support institutions; proposed projects should have regional impact;
- projects involving creating financial instruments which facilitate effective work of Business Support Institution Network 

Measure 1.5
Regional network of the transfer of innovative solutions

Sub measure 1.5.1
The development of innovative enterprise infrastructure
Eligible projects:
- projects targeted at science and technology parks, enterprise incubators, advance technology centres;
- projects aimed at creating effective mechanisms for generation, transfer and commercialisation of innovation.

Sub measure 1.5.2
The Support for regional pro-innovation processes
Eligible projects:
-projects that involve setting up and developing a system of information transfer, collaboration and knowledge transfer between research centres, enterprises and other units actively engaged in the field of innovation.

Measure 1.6
Investment promotion of the region

Sub measure 1.6.1
Promotion of the region’s investment attractiveness
Eligible projects:
- projects aimed at building up a cohesive, accessible and constantly updated system of regional economic information for entrepreneurs and prospective investors;
- projects involving drawing up an investment promotion plan and implementing territorial marketing activities undertaken to improve region’s image and the reputation of its products in the context of  potential investors;
- projects aimed at creating a comprehensive investor assistance system on regional level, including projects involving training local government units in providing effective investor assistance service.

Sub measure 1.6.2
Support for international trade of Pomeranian enterprises
Eligible projects:
-projects aimed at facilitating entrepreneurs to establish and maintain foreign trade contacts;
